Q: Is it true that I only have 28 days to return a product to get a full refund? And that after that period I can only either exchange the product or have it repaired?
A: No, this is untrue. You are entitled to a refund, however a reduction may be made if you have had some reasonable use of the item within the time that you have had it. For instance if you used the item perfectly well for a year, you would only be eligible for a partial refund and not a full refund.
All our products (excluding Olympus Branded Cards) come with a lifetime warranty which should give you peace of mind about the longevity and durability of your product.
Q: When you say the item has a lifetime warranty, what does that actually mean? What isn't covered in this warranty?
A: Our lifetime warranties are provided by Crucial and is a guarantee that the product will be free from defects under normal usage for as long as you use it.
This does not, however cover faults and defects arising from problems with electrical power, abuse, neglect, improper usage, acts of nature, alteration or improper repairs made by yourself or third parties.
Q: What is SDHC and will these cards work in my device?
A: SDHC stands for Secure Digital High Capacity, this is the new standard for SD cards giving them a theoretical maximum capacity of 2048GB. Unfortunately these are NOT backwards compatible with standard SD card devices, to use these cards your device must be SDHC enabled. If your device is more than a couple of years old then it is unlikely to be able to recognise SDHC cards.
The reason for the change in standard is that 2GB was the maximum capacity for standard SD cards, to produce bigger capacity cards a new standard was needed, that means that all cards above 2GB will be SDHC.
